Kaden's Christmas Program

Kaden's Pre-K had a Christmas program where they sang Christmas songs and we ate gingerbread men. Kaden is a big ham, but the class had to sing 4 songs and when it comes to things like this he sometimes shuts down and he ended up walking away from the class while they were singing. I don't know if he knew all the words to the songs and was embarrassed or what, but needless to say, he made an impression on the group. He would walk back to the group when they started a new song and then walk off again. As they started to sing, "Dashing through the snow..." and off Kaden dashed. It was like he tried to"dash" on cue with the song.

But, the gingerbread men made up for everything and he ate 2 3/4 cookies while Grandma, Kassidy and I shared the 1/4. Apparently, he caught on quick when rolling the cookie dough out and ended up rolling out all of his classmates dough for them.

While Kaden had his program, Kassidy decided that she was going to climb the stairs and scare both Grandma and I by jumping up and down as she made her way down. She also thought it was funny to stick her face between the bars and say, "I see you, mommy!" at the top of her lungs.
