Kassidy Hurts Her Hand and Milks It For All It's Worth

Kassidy was jumping on our bed last night and all I heard was her laughing and Brian telling her over and over again, "Don't jump, you're going to get hurt." Guess what happened??? Yes, she fell and I hear her crying and I hear Brian telling her, "See, I told you you were going to get hurt." So they come walking out to me and she's bawling and he's telling me what happened and then we notice the blood dripping off her hand and flowing down to her wrist. We hurry and get a towel and start applying pressure to it and I send Brian to our room to get the Bacteine (sp?) and some bandaids. We finally get her to settle down, cleaned the cut and then we put some Spongebob bandaids on her hand. She finally fell asleep in my arms and I thought we were good for the night...3:50 am, she wakes up crying. I felt so bad for her. I put another bandage on her hand and I think she was so tired from crying so hard hours before, she was in bed by 4:07am. It wasn't that bad, but I just wish that the "dad's" would wake up to crying once in a while and take care of things while the "mom's" slept through all the ruckus!

This morning, she work up and all she wanted to do was sit on my lap. We changed her bandaid and then I had to hand feed her pizza and her juice, because she was busy clasping her hands together so the bandaid wouldn't fall off.

Lets just say, she loved being waited on "hand and foot".

We knew she was feeling better when she was able to sit up, hold her own popsicle and watch Spongebob all by herself.
