Palo Alto 2nd Ward Reunion

On Saturday, August 22nd, we had a PAII reunion at Britt Weiler Woods' home. It was so good to see people that we haven't seen in over 20+ years. People that came to the reunion were: Peter Giles, Peter and Amy Weiler, Alison Harker Tieman, Jennifer Odom Latu, Kenny Jensen, Jack and Sandy Taylor, Mike and Becky Odom Volpe, Peter de Schweinitz's family (he was in Alaska for work, so his wife Rebecca and kids came). It was fun to sit down and talk about what has been going on in our lives all these years. Thanks Britt for putting this all together, it was so much fun!!

Inoke and Brian enjoying the food...I swear they were joined at the hip that day (they didn't know anyone but their own families at the reunion). I'm so glad that they get along so well, it would be terrible if they didn't have anything in common!!

The kids loved swimming. I wasn't sure if Kassidy would swim, but she surprised me and got in her bathing suit and got right on in...well, just on the stairs, but she was in!

The kids took turns playing on the raft...when Chloe was on it and Georgie was pushing her around, all you could hear was (in a half terrified, half yelling voice), "No, don't go so fast", "No, don't do make me fall in", over and over again. Made me kinda laugh inside, I could see that all the boys wanted to see her slip off and fall into the water...boys, they're so naughty sometimes (correction, most of the time!!).

Kassidy found a new BFF (best friend forever) that day. Kevin Wood, who's Britt Weiler Woods' husband, paid a little attention to Kassidy (I think he got her wet by accident) and she was his shadow for the rest of the day. She thought it was so funny to try and get him wet and he was so sweet to let her!

Kassidy got very thirsty after swimming (it was a stinkin hot day, over 100) and then decided that she was going to cool down and rock on the rocking horse in the playroom.

It was a really fun day and good to see everyone...would be fun to have another one next year and hope more people would be able to make it!!
