Making Cookies

Since the kids have been out of school since last Thursday (weather has been cold and wet and they've been stuck in the house the whole time...DYING and can't wait for school to start on Tuesday!!),   ; )  I tried to think of things to keep them busy and have fun at the same time.  So, we decided to make pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.  I decided to make them the easy way with a Spice cake mix, 1-15 oz. can of Libby's pumpkin,  1 tsp. of pumpkin spice and a bag of milk chocolate chips.  Thank goodness there were 3 steps for my 3 kids!
 Kassidy got the cake mix.
Keegan got to get the pumpkin out of the can...if you look real close at his face, he's not too happy with the pumpkin smell.
Kaden got to dump the chocolate chips in the bowl (he thought that was the best job ever!).  Kassidy and Keegan were hoping that he would miss the bowl so they could gobble up any chocolate chips that may fall onto the counter top.  None fell, but there were 3 chips that were stuck in the bag, so each one got to eat a chocolate chip!

All got a chance to stir the mixture.
 Cookies ready for baking.
Waiting patiently, for the full 12 minutes.
Cookies done and ready for eating!!
